The Tamil Nadu government on Monday, Auguest 19, 2024 Mr. Muruganandam assumed office at the Secretariat. Mr. Muruganandam is a 1991-batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He was, until recently, serving as Secretary-I to the Chief Minister. He is set to retire in December 2027.
